The working of the system can be explained in two sections ie,
Enrolling
Voting
ENROLLING
This is the step in which the voters fingerprints are registered by the authority.
When the voter keep his finger on the FPS the sensor will read the thumb impression and save it in the external memory EEPROM.
A unique ID no. is assigned to that person.
VOTING
When the voter keep his/her finger on the FPS the system will compare it with previously stored impressions of the EEPROM.
If it matches then the system will allow the voter to cast his/her vote.
If it does not matches then the system wont allow the person to vote and will provide alarm indication to the presiding officer.
At the end of election when the control key is turned ON then the result of voting will display on the LCD screen.
